Adelchi Anthony "Ducky" Pilutti

Adelchi Anthony “Ducky” Pilutti, 94, of Ocean Springs, MS passed away Friday, September 9, 2016 in Ocean Springs. Mr. Pilutti was born December 18, 1921 in Rivignano, Italy to Louisa and Giovanni Pilutti. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving in the 82nd Airborne during WWII, as well as a Retired Special Forces CSM. Mr. Pilutti was decorated with the Purple Heart, the Bronze Star and the French Legion of Honor. He was retired from the civil service in Training Aids at Keesler AFB. Mr. Pilutti enjoyed woodworking, hunting, fishing and coin collecting. He is preceded in death by his wife, Alice Rae; and his siblings, Aldo, Mary and Bert. Mr. Pilutti’s survivors include his children, Aleta, Cathy and Blake (Deanna); his grandchildren, Marla, Evan, Lacy, Warren and Nathan; and his great-grandchildren, Tyler, Harper and Kendall. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations be made to the Wounded Minutemen of Mississippi, 108 Oscar Bond Road, Purvis, MS 39475. Funeral Services will be held at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at 2:00 pm. Friends may visit from 12:00 pm until service time. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
