Alex "Bob" Rochuba

Mr. Alex "Bob" Rochuba, age 75, of the Latimer Community, died Tuesday, May 14, 2013, in Latimer. Mr. Rochuba was born on September 20, 1938. He served in and retired from the U.S. Marine Corp and was a Korean War veteran. He was a life member of the V.F.W Post #2434 Biloxi, D.A.V, Chapter #5, Gulfport and the American Legion Post#119, Gulfport. Mr. Rochuba was a former Biloxi police officer, former Jackson County Deputy Sheriff, former Ocean Springs police officer and motorcycle officer for 14 years, retiring after 20 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank W. Rochuba Sr. and Florence L. Rochuba. Visitation will be on Thursday, May 16, 2013, from 6pm until 8pm, with a 7pm chapel service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will be in Crestlawn Memorial Park.
