Alice "Faye" McAllister

Alice “Faye” McAllister, age 76, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family and love on April 19, 2013. Mrs. McAllister was a resident of Ocean Springs and attended Lemoyne Boulevard Baptist Church. She was a loving and gracious wife, mother, and grandmother who will be greatly missed. She will forever be remembered for her love, her strength, and her grace. May she rest sheltered in the arms of God. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ephrum and Berdie Carroll; her three sisters, Rita, Ted, and Joy; and her four brothers, Bud, Lee, Jimmy, and Wilbur. Survivors include her husband of 55 years, John McAllister; her children, Lydia Cox (Carey), Kathryn Kahl, Lisa Simons (Allen); her grandchildren Courtney Payne (Wesley), Colby Kahl (Kim), Crystal Serrano (Daniel), C.J. Cox, Caitlin Cox and Emily Simons; and her great grandchildren, Allyson Payne, Madison Payne, Landen Payne, Carly Kahl, Colby Kahl and Finn Serrano. Funeral Services will be held at Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. Friends may visit from 5:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m.
