Alice Phillips Reese

Alice Phillips Reese, 77, of Gulfport, MS died on Thursday, January 10, 2013. Ms. Reese was born in Jones County and had been a resident of Gulfport since 1955. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Gulfport. Ms. Reese was a retired hairdresser and she loved gardening. She is preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy Smith and Kathleen Winn; three brothers, Howard, Jerry and Carroll Wayne Phillips. Ms. Reese is survived by her son, Barry Reese of Gulfport; sister, Mildred Frieze also of Gulfport; one grandson and two great-granddaughters. Visitation will be on Monday, January 14, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Both will be held at the 15th Street Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Gulfport. Interment will follow in Pine Ridge Gardens in Gulfport.
