Ann Marie Cruso

Ann M. Cruso, 89, of Biloxi, died Monday, April 30, 2012. Born in Brooklyn, New York, she married John W. Cruso Sr. in 1946, moved to Biloxi and started a family. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Her family and friends will cherish her beautiful smile, her laughter, sense of humor, generosity, and unconditional love. She enjoyed spending time with her family, watching game shows, playing bingo and working in puzzle books. She was of Catholic faith and attended St. Michael’s Church. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Frances Cappiello, two daughters, Frances and Francene Cruso, her sisters, Mary (Pete) Andretti and Rose (Sal) Castagno, brother, Johnny (Josie) Cappiello, and brothers-in-law Neal Lauro and Anthony Losavia, and grandson, Frank Steven Cruso. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, John W. Cruso, Sr., her children, Mary Ann (Johnny Carpenter) Jarman, Geralyn Ann Cruso, John W. (Nellie) Cruso, Jr., Joseph S.(Connie) Cruso, Anthony (Vicki) Cruso, Kevin P. (Donna) Cruso, her brother Anthony “Tony” (Helen) Cappiello, sisters, Carmella “Cappy” Lauro, and Theresa “Tess” Losavia, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Services will be held May 4, 11AM, with visitation from 9-11AM, at Bradford O’Keefe Funeral Home, 675 Howard Avenue, Biloxi, Ms. Burial will follow at Biloxi City Cemetery.
