Annette M. Melerine, age 67, of Biloxi died Saturday, November 3, 2012 in Biloxi where
she had been a resident for 7 years and was also a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Gulfport where she volunteered for St. Vincent de Paul. She was retired from Louisiana National Guard with 38 years of service. She was a free spirit and loved to paint. Annette was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend who will be greatly missed by all.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Martinez and Theresa Couture Martinez.
Annette is survived by her partner in life, Joseph Toche, Jr. of Biloxi; three sons,
Kevin (Tika) Sevin of LaRose, LA, Darryn Melerine of Covington, LA, Chad (Stefanie) Melerine of Slidell, LA; three sisters, Joan (Lionel) Serigne, Mary Cecile (Anthony) Fabra, Myra (Ernest) Ricouard; a brother, John (Melanie) Martinez, Jr.; seven grandchildren, Brianna Sevin, Shea Alario, Devin Alario, Ashtyn Melerine, Cayden Melerine, Falyn Melerine, and Shiloh Melerine.
Visitation will be held Friday, November 9, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary Service at 7:00 p.m. at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, O’Neal Road, Gulfport. The Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Depew Road, Gulfport. Interment will follow at Biloxi City Cemetery.
