Annie Margaret Nicks Metz

Annie Margaret Nicks Metz, age 78, passed away on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at her home in Ocean Springs, MS. She was a longtime resident of the MS Gulf Coast and a member of Ocean Springs Church of Christ. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be missed by all that knew her. She was a homemaker and enjoyed painting, singing, sewing, gardening, reading, traveling, and watching westerns. Annie was preceded in death by her husband, Veries Metz; parents, Rufus Nicks and Evadne Nicks (née Hicks); and siblings, Gilbert Nicks, Rufus Nicks, Jr., and Eugene Nicks . Survivors include her children, Sean Metz, Janeen Metz, and David Metz; and one grandchild, Jordan Metz. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 24, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a service at 12:00 noon on Friday, May 25, 2018, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
