Anthony Joseph Formica, born October 12, 1988, in Gulfport, MS went to be with our Heavenly Father on May 14, 2012.
Anthony was known for his affectionate smile and laughter. He loved God’s waters and was an avid fisherman. He was a child of the king and we can be comforted by the inspired words of Christ in St. John as He wrote “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: If it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you, and if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself: That where I am, there ye may be also.”
“Our boy” loved and missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his parents, Michelle and Barry McDaniel and Anthony “Tony” Formica; brother, Tommy Formica; sister, Angelina Formica; nephew, T.J. Formica, for whom Uncle Anthony had an unconditional and abiding love for; grandparents, Red and Joyce Seymour, Steve and Danette Skiados, Pete Formica and Maxine Formica; aunts, Stephanie “Meme” Floyd and Teresa Formica; uncles, Stevie Skiados, Conrad Formica and Peter Formica; also many great aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 17, 2012 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm with a 7:00 pm service all at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home.
