Archie Lee Flowers, 89, of Biloxi, MS died Friday, May 17, 2013 in Perkinston.
Mr. Flowers was a Biloxi native and lifelong resident of the coast. He was a WWII Veteran of the U.S. Navy and retired from Terra Industries, Inc. in Pascagoula. Mr. Flowers was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
Mr. Flowers is preceded in death by his parents, Belle and Eli Flowers; and his two sisters, Katherine Brown and Hilda F. Byrd.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 67 years, Ettie Gollott Flowers; his brother, Marvin (Lou) Flowers; and many other relatives and friends.
The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Tina McGill and the staff of Eva’s Personal Care Home in Perkinston, MS and the nurses at Advantage Hospice.
Visitation will be at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Graveside Services will be held at Biloxi National Cemetery on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at 10:00 a.m.
