Ashton Leigh Halula

Ms. Ashton Leigh Halula, age 21, of Ocean Springs, MS., passed away on Friday, July 6, 2012, in Robertsdale, AL. Ashton was born and raised on the Gulf Coast and was an avid softball and basketball player. She played on many softball league teams and tournament teams in St. Martin. Survivors include her mother, Royce Brune (Pat Granger), father Eddie (Susan) Halula, two brothers Nick Halula and Eric Dahm, stepbrother Spencer Allen and stepsister Meagan Allen and her great-grandfather Bernard Basque. Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 10, 2012, from 10 am until 12 noon, with a 12 noon chapel service, all at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Basque Cemetery, Kippie Cutoff, Ocean Springs.
