Austin Alan Arnold

Austin A. Arnold, Sr. 76, of Diamondhead, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 1, 2018. He was born on January 4, 1942 in West, Mississippi. He was a graduate of the University of Mississippi and remained an avid Rebel fan until the end. He retired from Tennessee Gas Pipeline five years ago and was enjoying traveling to his favorite places in New England and visiting with his children and grandchildren. When he was home he enjoyed working in his yard and watching the New Orleans Saints. He grew up with his parents, Maxwell Arnold (deceased) and Helen Hamlin Arnold (deceased), his sister, Karen Arnold Bloodworth, and brother, Pete Arnold (deceased). He is survived by his wife, Sandra Arnold; sister, Karen Bloodworth; his children, Susan A. Brozovic and his son-in-law, John Brozovic, Austin Alan Arnold, Jr., Holly H. Langlois, Hunter Hughes, and Hayes Hughes and daughter-in-law, Angie Hughes. He was also blessed with many grandchildren: Will Brozovic, Kate Brozovic, Chris Arnold, Lexi Langlois, Sabrina Langlois, Garin Hughes, Raena Hughes (deceased), Taylor Hughes, Hannah Hughes, and Tristan Hughes. They brought him great pride and happiness. We are all joyous that he is no longer in pain from his battle with cancer and has joined his loved ones in Heaven. A small, private family memorial service will be held in Sardis this month as he requested. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport is in charge of arrangements.
