She is survived by her loving husband, Jeff Tammen; her mother, Syble Hall; her sister Donna Strickland (Danny); and her brother, Billy Dean (Debbie); three nephews, Ross, Jarred and Justin. She was blessed with her God-given children: Paige Carew, Brittany Tammen and Parker Tammen; and was Grandma Lynn to Gabriel, Carmen, Christian and Hunter, Sellers, Kimora and Aubrina and Nixon. Lynn also leaves behind her adoring pets Shelby Sue, Bruno and Peaches. Lynn was born and raised in Gulfport and graduated from Gulfport High School in 1979. Lynn was a dedicated educator, earning her BS Degree in elementary education from USM and her Master’s Degree from William Carey College. She went on to get her Administrative License in Education and later earned her National Boards. Lynn’s passion for teaching led her to teach for the Gulfport City School District and Pass Christian Middle School. Her drive enabled her to become assistant principal at Central Elementary and Bay-Waveland Middle School. She retired after 28 years of dedicated service. She was currently employed at Transmedia in Gulfport where she loved and adored her new family and friends. She was adventuresome and enthusiastic about all her endeavors whether it was supporting the Grace Food Pantry, creating beautiful pottery or enjoying her gardens, just to name a few.
