Bernard Ralph Behrendt

Bernard Ralph Behrendt, 89, of Gulfport, died Thursday, June 28, 2012 in Biloxi. Mr. Behrendt was born in St. Joseph, MO and had been a resident of Gulfport since 1955. He was a retired engineer with Cable One, served in the U. S. Air Force during WWII and he was a Jehovah’s Witness. Mr. Behrendt was preceded in death by his wife, Norma, and his daughter, Sheryl Slade. Survivors include three sons, Kenneth, of Pass Christian, Kevin (Laurie), of Gulfport and Timothy (Michele), of Wiggins; three grandchildren, Khryste (A.D.) Bairfield, of Saraland, AL and Kameron and Madison Behrendt, of Wiggins. A private service will be held. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th St. in Gulfport, is in charge of arrangements.
