Berneice A. Felth

Berniece A. Felth entered her heavenly home Wednesday, October 31, 2012, in Biloxi, MS, at age 92. She lived her first 88 years in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where she was born on January 20, 1920. She was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She was a faithful member of Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church in Minneapolis until her move to Biloxi, where she became a member of Bethel Lutheran Church. She was preceded in death by Stanley, her loving husband of 69 years; her parents, Ole and Josephine Benson; daughter, Nancy Berry; brother, Rev. Howard Benson; and sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Eugene Hamlin, Sr. Mrs. Felth is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Judith and Lt. Col. (ret.) Vincent Monto; son-in-law, Dr. Douglas Berry; grandchildren, Major Christine (Frank) Millard, Major Michael (Casie) Monto, Suzanne (Joshua) Frost, Dr. Steven (Jennifer) Berry, Dr. Craig Berry, Karla (Charles) Kregel, Dr. Bryan Berry; great-grandchildren, Leia Millard, Amelia, Anna and Samuel Berry, Caleigh Kregel, Theodore Monto, and Amelie Frost; sister-in-law, Janet Benson; nephews, Eugene Hamlin, Jr., Gerald (Jeri) Hamlin, Bernt (Dawn) Benson, Bryan (Jan) Benson; nieces, Kathy (Mike) Crum, Jane Benson, Carrie Jo Kaub; and great-nieces and great-nephews. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Bethel Lutheran Church, 2521 Pass Road, Biloxi, MS 39531, or to Bethel Free Health Clinic, 1650 Carrol Drive, Biloxi, MS 39531. Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, November 4, 2012, at Bethel Lutheran Church where friends may visit one hour before service time. Mrs. Felth will be sent to Minneapolis, MN for interment in Lakewood Cemetery. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 2511 Pass Road, in Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.
