Betty Lou Crabtree Tyler

Betty Lou Crabtree Tyler, 82, of Ocean Springs, MS passed from this life to the next on Wednesday, November 19, 2014. Mrs. Tyler was a native of Fayetteville, NC and a longtime resident of Ocean Springs. She retired after a long career of nursing from Ocean Springs Hospital. Mrs. Tyler is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Wesley Tyler; her brother, Thomas Archibald Crabtree, Jr.; and her granddaughter, Kristi Elena Tyler. She is survived by her sons, Timothy Wayne Tyler and James Michael Tyler, both of Ocean Springs; her sisters, Maggie Tanner, Estelle Flowers and Dorothy “Dot” Strickland, all of North Carolina; her five grandchildren; and her six great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Friday, November 28, 2014 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am followed by an 11:30 am graveside service at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
