Billie J. Anderson

Billie J. “Mamou” Anderson, age 78, died Thursday, December 13, 2012. She was a lifelong resident of the MS Gulf Coast. Mrs. Anderson received her degree of nursing from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College in 1980 and worked for Memorial Hospital Gulfport. She loved gardening and cooking for her family. Known as “Mamou”, Mrs. Anderson was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a genuine soul and will be greatly missed. Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by her husband Kindeth “Dale” Anderson, Sr. and parents, James and Ionia Whitten Riley. She is survived by her daughter, Darlene Anderson; two sons, Kindeth “Andy” (Robin) Anderson, II and Forrest (Cyndi) Anderson; ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. A funeral service will be Monday, December 17, 2012 at 12:00 pm at Bradford O’Keefe Funeral Home, O’Neal Road, Gulfport, where friends may visit from 11:00 am till service time. Interment will follow at Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens in Long Beach. Bradford O’Keefe Funeral Home, O’Neal Road, Gulfport is in charge of arrangements.
