Bishop John Ealy, age 52, of Gulfport died Thursday, March 29, 2018 in Hattiesburg. He was born on January 26, 1966 in Ocean Springs.
Bishop was a member of the Pascagoula River Tribe. He was a master carpenter and used his skills to help others. He never worried about tomorrow and only lived for the day. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Bishop was preceded in death by his parents, Gaynell Phelps Ealy and Marvin John Ealy; and brother, Marvin Glen Ealy.
Survivors include two sisters, Amanda Ealy and Ronda Michelle Hebert (Darrell); brother, Timothy Ray Ealy (Tracy); his companion, Kathy Skinner; and three nieces, Angel Hebert, Cortney Hebert McDill (Cory) and Emily Ealy.
The family gives thanks to Forrest General Hospital’s ICU Staff for the wonderful care given to our brother.
Memorial service will be held Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, O’Neal Road in Gulfport where friends may visit beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be private.
