Blanche Maria Wade

Blanche Maria Wade, formerly of Biloxi, Mississippi, died in Manhattan, Kansas on May 2, 2014 at the age of 91. She was born in Brooklyn, New York on September 27, 1922. Her parents, Harry and Clara Sanders, preceded her in death. Blanche had eight brothers and seven sisters. She is survived by three sisters and three brothers and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by Ray Wade, Sr.; and by her sons, Ray Wade, Jr. and Richmond (Richie) Wade. Blanche is survived by her son, Ronnie Wade of Wamego, KS; daughters-in-law, Mary Wade of Wamego, KS and Debra Wade of Biloxi, MS; and three grandsons, Jeffrey Wade of Alma, KS, Chuck Wade of Biloxi, MS, and Franky Wade of Louisville, KY; two granddaughters, Joanna Earl of Lawrence, KS and Libby Sandoz of Biloxi, MS; and eight great-grandchildren: Allison Wade, Elijah Wade and Isabella Wade of Alma, KS, Gavin Wade of Biloxi, MS, and Rylee Clingingsmith, Delaney Earl, Ellisen Earl and Calister Earl, all of Lawrence KS. Friends can meet with the family at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford O’Keefe on Thursday, May 8, 2014 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. A procession will follow to Biloxi City Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service.
