Brother Wayne Myers

Brother Wayne Myers, age 64, of Vancleave, MS went home on Thursday, August 18, 2016. He was a lifelong resident of Vancleave and a 1970 graduate of Vancleave High School. Brother Wayne pastored Ramsay Hills Baptist Church, formerly First Baptist of D'Iberville for 34 years. His 50 years of pastoring touched countless lives. He always wanted to be a farmer and following God's plan for his life, he cultivated the ground, sowed the seed, watered the field and GOD GAVE THE INCREASE. "What A Life!" He was preceded in death by his parents, O.C. and Nell Myers, brother, Tim Myers and a daughter, Rachel Myers. Survivors inlcude his wife, Phyllis Myers, daughter, Faith (C.C.) Parker, grandchildren, Austin, Cody and Maddie, brother, David (Gwen) Myers and sister-in-law, Sherry Myers.. Visitation will be on Monday, August 22, beginning at 6pm at Ramsay Hills Baptist Church. On Tuesday, August 23, there will be a 10am funeral service in the church. Burial will follow in Bonnie Chapel Cemetery.
