Carl R Barber

Mr. Carl R. Barber, Sr., 76, of Biloxi, passed away Sunday, December 8, 2013. Carl was born on Dauphin Island in 1937. He was a resident of the MS Gulf Coast since 1970. He retired as a commercial fisherman, was a former employee of Barq’s Bottling Company and of the Methodist Faith. Carl was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Bell Barber. Survivors include his children, Roseanna Collier (PeeWee), Roland Barber (Debra) and Kevin Barber (Lachrisha); brothers, Joe Barber and J.W. Barber; seven grandchildren; and one great grandchild. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Biloxi City Cemetery. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
