Carolyn Whitehead Boccaleri Thompson

Carolyn Whitehead Boccaleri Thompson passed away on June 2, 2014 at the age of 67. Mrs. Thompson spent her entire life caring for the sick and elderly. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lucille Cooper and Samuel Stephen Whitehead; her brothers, Cleveland Jackson Whitehead and Winford Steve Whitehead; her sister, Martha Whitehead Gibson; and her grandson, Kaleb Miller. Mrs. Thompson leaves behind her loving husband, Clarence “Tom” Thompson; and her three beautiful children, Tony Boccaleri (Katie), Patti McQueen (Jerry) and Timothy Boccaleri (Lisa); her brother, Muton Whitehead (Betty); and her sisters, Eula Pigg (Jessie), Cynthia Shoemaker (Wendell), Marsha Ellis (Jeff), Bobbie Ferguson (Darle) and Gloria Whitehead Broome; her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Gregory Fountain (Lyn), Kristen Fountain, Quentin Boccaleri, Madeline Boccaleri, Bella Kate Cruse, Kayden Fountain and Kelsey Beck; her stepchildren, Lori Savage (Pat), Scott Thompson (Sherri) and Chris Thompson; and her step grandchildren, Maggie and Patrick Savage and Keegan and Kobe Thompson. A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2014 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm with a 6:30 pm funeral service at the Pentecostals of the Gulf Coast Church. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, June 6, 2014 at Cruthirds Road Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
