Mr. Cecil Aden Fayard, Sr., 84, of Biloxi died Wednesday, June 11, 2014.
Mr. Fayard was a longtime resident of the MS Gulf Coast. He retired from Ingalls as a Pipefitter and ran Share Ministry for about 15 years. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign War, Sons of Confederate Veterans and the French Club.
Mr. Fayard is preceded in death by his parents, Aden and Helen Levins Fayard.
Survivors include daughter, Darlene Kay Holmes (Lee) of Denver, CO; sons, Cecil A. Fayard, Jr. (Myrtle) of D’Iberville, MS, David Wayne Fayard of South Dakota and Stephen Edward Fayard of Los Angelos, CA; 9 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials to be made to East Howard Baptist Church, 241 Howard Avenue, Biloxi, MS 39530.
Visitation will be held at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Friday, June 13, 2014 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Service will be held Saturday, June 14, 2014 at East Howard Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. Friends may visit one hour prior. Interment will follow at Coalville Cemetery in Biloxi.
