Charles Hill Galloway, age 37, passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2014. He was a native of Gulfport, and a graduate of Gulfport High School and Gulf Coast Community College, and worked for Hancock Bank in the IT Department. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Gulfport. Charles enjoyed writing and playing music, writing short stories, and taking care of animals—especially his cats.
He is survived by his parents, Robert and Karen Galloway, and his sister Brandon Galloway, all of Gulfport, and several uncles, aunts, and cousins. He loved and was loved by his family and his many friends. Visitation will be Monday, January 27, 2014, from 9:30 to 11:00 at First United Methodist Church, 2301 15th Street, Gulfport, followed by the service at 11:00. Interment will be at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Gulfport, after the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to First United Methodist Church, Gulfport, or the Humane Society of South Mississippi, 2615 25th Avenue, Gulfport, MS 39501.
