Charles Wilson Whittington, Sr., age 69, died Saturday, January 11, 2014.
He was a retired Senior Master Sergeant with the United States Air Force and retired from the Federal Aviation Administration. Charles was a member of The Covenant of Peace Church. He was also a member of the Magnolia Lodge #120 AF & AM, Biloxi. He was a Shriner and a member of The Indifference Band. Charles was a loving husband, father and friend. Charles will be dearly missed by all that knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow W. and Garland A. Whittington.
Charles is survived by his wife, Virginia A. Whittington; children, Major General Charles W. Whittington, Jr. (Kim), Cindi R. Cafasso, Theresa M. Barhonovich, and Lisa M. Thompson (Mitch); brother, Robert Knight of Florida; 13 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home where friends may visit beginning at 9:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
