Charlie Douglas

Charlie Douglas, 77, of Ocean Springs, MS died on Friday, June 29, 2012. Charles was a graduate of Kirkwood High School, Kirkwood, MO. Most of his career was devoted to photography. Charlie’s hobbies included fishing, boating, camping and photography. He enjoyed meeting and talking with people. Charlie would often share stories and a good joke with family, friends and strangers. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Lillian Ida Schoettler Douglas; parents, Samuel F. and Ruth I. Edwards Douglas. Charlie is survived by his wife, Bettylou Douglas of Ocean Springs; sons, Chuck W. (Terri) Douglas of Jemison, AL, Bryan W. (Nina) Douglas of Stockbridge, GA; daughter, Debbie Douglas(Randy) Moncrief of Chaparral, NM; brother, Ray (Mary Ann) Douglas of Union City, TN; step-son, Robert (Deborah) Tucker of St. Louis, MO; grandchildren, Kimberly, Devin, Caleb, Erin, Micah, Noah Douglas; step-granddaughters, Marissa and Amanda Tucker and two nephews, Steve and Jim Douglas. A visitation will be held on Friday, July 6, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 911 Porter Ave., Ocean Springs. Interment will be at a later date in Union City, TN.
