Charlie Marbury

Mr. Charles Alton Marbury, age 77, of Ocean Springs, MS passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2013, surrounded by his family. We were proud of his Civil Service employment as instructor at Keesler Air Force Base. He retired after 30+ years at Wright Pat Air Force Base. Mr. Marbury was active in community activities and was proud of his work with the Ocean Springs Jaycees. Survivors include his children, Greg (Sharon) Marbury, Susan (Charles) Pitts, Lori (Robert) Brady and Leigh Marbury Nichols, grandchildren, Elizabeth (Ryan) Otthofer, Greg Marbury, Jessica Pitts (Phillip) Schislar, Brian (Lindsay Farmer) Pitts, Olivia Marbury and one great-grandchild, Tate Ryan Otthofer. On Saturday, September 21, 2013, there will be a 4:00 pm Remembrance Gathering at the home of Susan and Charles Pitts. In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations be made to the Joppa Shrine Center, 13280 New Hwy 67, Biloxi, MS 39532. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
