Chris Price, 55, of Biloxi, died Friday, April 27, 2012 after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Chris was born on October 2, 1956 to John C. and Darlene Price. Chris loved music and owned a recording studio. In that studio he strummed away on his guitar and even produced a children’s Christian album. Along with his passion for music he also loved his motorcycles. In July of 2011, Chris took a 3,270 mile trip on his motorcycle from South Lake Tahoe, California to Pine Bluff, North Carolina just two months after his first chemo treatment ended. And Chris being the skilled craftsmen was also a master shipwright of marine restoration.
He is preceded in death by his father, John C. Price, and grandson, Carmine Price.
Chris is survived by his son, John Christopher Price, Jr.; two brothers, Michael Thomas (Debra) Price and David Earle (Liz) Price; two grandchildren, Jason Cagle and Camryn Price; five nephews, Casey, Michael, David, Donovan, and Dawson Price; daughter in law, Holly Notter, and three special friends, Brad Merrill, Kenny Shurehamer, and Woody Bailey.
Visitation will be held from 6-7 p.m. on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Biloxi. A memorial service will follow at 7 p.m.
