Claudie Ray Pardue

Mr. Claudie "Ray" Pardue, age 81, of Ocean Springs, MS passed away Tuesday July 1, 2014. Ray was born February 23, 1933, in Coushatta, LA to the late Theodore and Gertrude Pardue. He was a proud American with over 20 years of dedicated US Air Force service. He lived a humble life full of laughter, silly jokes, and a pocket full of candy. Ray was a member of Woodhaven Baptist Church in Ocean Springs, MS where he loved worshipping our Lord and Savior. He was predeceased by his brother CV Pardue, daughter Tamara Pardue Futral, and nephew Larry Pardue. Survivors include his loving wife of 49 years, Barbara Annette Pardue; daughter Debbie (Ken) Terrell, sons John Harold (Suzanne) Pardue, Ronald (Shana) Pardue, and Michael (Lindsey) Pardue, sister-in-law, Jeannette Pardue, and niece, Lisa Phillips; 19 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Saturday July 5, 2014, from 9:30am -11:00am at Woodhaven Baptist Church. Funeral Service will be at 11am immediately follow visitation at the church with Brother Sam Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Ocean Springs, MS. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Singing River Health System Hospice of Light, 11 Marks Road, Ocean Springs, MS 39564. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
