Cleveland Jackson Whitehead, born August 16, 1942, passed from this life on July 5, 2013 at the age of 70.
Mr. Whitehead was a veteran that served in the U.S. Army. He loved to travel and was able to visit forty states and nineteen countries. Mr. Whitehead was a carpenter and contractor by trade. He built many beautiful buildings along the Gulf Coast.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Lucille Cooper Whitehead; his father, Samuel Steve Whitehead; his brother, Winford Whitehead; his sister, Martha Whitehead Gibson; and his son, Aaron Samuel Whitehead.
He is survived by his former wife, Connie Boutot of Seneca, MO; his children, Steve Whitehead (Marilyn) of Woolmarket, Michael Whitehead (Michele) of Ocean Springs, Shane Whitehead (Sherry) of Latimer, Jacilyn Whitehead Craig (Chuck) of Neosha, MO, and Coda Whitehead (Leah) of Pikeville, NC; his siblings, Mouton Whitehead (Betty) and Carolyn Thompson (Tom), both of D’Iberville, Eula Pigg (Jesse) of Latimer, Gloria Broome and Bobbie Ferguson (Darle), both of Ocean Springs, and Cynthia Shoemaker (Wendall) and Marsha Ellis (Jeff), both of Hammond, LA; and eight grandchildren, Hayley Whitehead, Hannah Whitehead, Allison Whitehead, O’Lyvia Harris, Javan Harris, Julianna Harris, Savanah whitehead, Brennan Whitehead, and Georgia Whitehead due to enter this world next month.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to your favorite charity or to The Pentecostals of the Gulf Coast Building Fund, 1907 Popps Ferry Rd., Biloxi, MS 39532.

Funeral Services will be held at the Pentecostals of the Gulf Coast on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. Friends may visit from 5:00 p.m. ~ 8:00 p.m. Interment will be at Biloxi National Cemetery on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at 9:00 a.m.
