Darla Kay Argroves, age 52, passed away on Friday, April 13, 2018 surrounded by her family. She had battled cancer for seven years. She fought a hard battle, never giving up- always laughing and talking to the very end.
Darla was born in Anniston, AL. She graduated from Ocean Springs High School in 1984 where she was a cheerleader and played softball. She worked at Page Manino Law Firm for 18 years. She never met a stranger and will be remembered for her great personality and infectious laugh. She touched the lives of many and will be missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Buddy and Josephine Atwell; paternal grandparents, William and Jewell Argroves; father, Richard E Argroves, Sr.; and several aunts and uncles.
Survivors include her mother, Emma Jo Parker; step-dad, Douglas Parker; brothers, Rick Argroves (Andrea) and Dudley Young (Cheryl); nieces, Julia and Emily Argroves; her partner, Jeff Cowart; and the love of her life, Fuzzy Maggie Mae.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 15, 2018 from 6-8pm. Funeral service will be held on Monday, April 16, 2018 at 11am with visitation one hour prior all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O-Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Vancleave.
