Dolores “Dee” Bogert Mc Clearnen was born in Brooklyn, NY on March 21, 1930. She graduated from Prospect Heights High School in 1945. She left Brooklyn, NY and resided in Bayside, NJ for 35 years. She attended Brooklyn Academy of Music for 3 ½ years studying voice. Dee worked at Ozone Industries in Ozone Park, NY for 20 years as an electronic data processing supervisor. She sang with the Oatorio Choral Society of Queens and also the Choralaires of Flushing, NY for 15 years. She also sang at Junior’s Italian Restaurant on Saturday nights. Her name was listed in the Washington Congressional Book of Records. She moved to Saucier, MS in April 1988 after retiring 18 years ago. She attended Pass Road Baptist Church, First Baptist Church of Lyman, the Nourishing Place in Gulfport, and Edgewater Christian Fellowship Church in Biloxi, MS.
Survivors include her 2 nieces, 2 nephews, 3 great nieces, 3 great nephews, a great great niece and a great great nephew.
Funeral service will be held at 11am on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, O’Neal Road in Gulfport. Friends may visit one hour prior. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memorial gardens.
