Mr. Donald W. Jamison, age 70, of Saucier, MS died Friday, August 30, 2013, in Saucier, after a long hard battle with cancer.
Mr. Jamison was born in Jackson County, MS and was a lifelong resident of the coast. He loved to spend time with his family, hunting and fishing. He never met a stranger and loved sitting on the porch visiting with family and friends. He lived to give.
Mr. Jamison was preceded in death by his parents, Arvis and Lillie Jamison, brother, Roy Jamison and sister, Shirley Roberts.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Jamison of Saucier, three daughters, Brenda (Buddy) Smith of Vancleave, Donna (Travis) Goodyear of Saucier and Debbie (Gussie) Lamey of Latimer, two sons, Terry (Bubba) Jamison and Rickey (Jennifer) Latch , all of Saucier, a sister, Cheryl Jamison of Vancleave, a brother, Bobby Jamison of Benndale, twelve grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 3, 2013, from 10 am until 12 noon, with a 12 noon church service, all at the Larue Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family wishes to thank many nurses and doctor's for their care of Mr. Jamison. Thanks to all those that supported and donated for all the trips to M.D. Anderson over the last three years.
