Donnie Gator Haynes

Donnie “Gator” Haynes age 71 of Gulfport passed away Sunday, March 25, 2012 in Gulfport. Gator was born in Decatur, AL to Aubrey Iverson Haynes and Flora Mae Oden Haynes. He traveled with job at Brown and Root Construction for 40 years, retiring as Warehouse Superintendent in 2004. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a member of D’Iberville Moose Lodge 332, Biloxi Elks Lodge, and Biloxi Eagles Lodge. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Barbara Nan Haynes; and brothers, Tommy Haynes, David Hardiman, Orville Hardiman and Willard Hardiman. Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Guy Nell Odom Haynes; daughters, Canitha (Tim) Thomas of Decatur, AL and Deborah (John) Kolling of Jacksonville, FL; son, Shane (Pam) Haynes of Decatur, AL; brothers, Billy Wayne Hardiman, Lemond Hardiman of Decatur, AL and Arthur B. Hardiman of Indiana; three granddaughters and three grandsons; and six great-grandchildren. As per his request there will be no funeral service. Everyone is invited to a memorial service on Sunday, April 1, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the D’Iberville Moose Family Center , 5145 West Gay Road, D’Iberville, MS 39540.
