Doreen Vercher

Doreen Vercher, age 80, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2018, in Biloxi. Mrs. Vercher was born in England where she met and married her late husband, Dudley Vercher, in 1955 and moved to the United States. She was a homemaker and a loving wife and mother of eight children who will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Dudley Vercher; grandson Stephen Begley; her parents, Albert and Bessie Phillips; and her sister, Christine Phillips. She is survived by her partner and companion, Jerry Anderson; her children, Jackie (Alex) Begley, Lorraine Franco, Karen White, Terri Tillman, Robin Vercher, Mandy (Warren) Stevens, Greg (Jenny) Vercher, and Kami (Carlos) Demelo; her sister, Dawn Tunney; sixteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials be made to cholangiocarcinoma.org or to Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation, 5526 West 13400 South #510, Herriman, UT 84096. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 2511 Pass Road, in Biloxi with visitation one hour before service time. Interment will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery.
