Doris Nell Summerlin LaCour

Doris Nell (Summerlin) LaCour, 89 passed away February 14th in Ocean Springs, MS. She was born in Farmhaven (Madison Co.) MS February 12, 1926. She was predeceased by her husband, Paul Anderson LaCour, her parents, Grover Sylvester and Lou Ola (Hawkins) Summerlin, brothers, Grover S. Summerlin and Curtis G. Summerlin, sisters (her twin) Dorothy Smith, Sammie Lee Turan, Myrtle Goolsby and Jane Magee. Mrs. LaCour is survived by her sons Paul Jr. “Andy” (Mary), Vernon (Anne), Clovis (Angela), Norman (Jackie), Ronald (Kit) and John (Melissa) and daughter Gladys (Jeff) Weiss. Her grandchildren are Paul III (Megan), Summerlin, George, Robert, Nicholas, Katherine, Kelly, Aaron, Caleb, Kimber, Christalin, Allen , Colette, Elise LaCour, Jeffrey Jr., Doris, Taylor Bergner, Margaret and Benjamin Weiss. She is also survived by her brother, Clarence G. Summerlin and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at Bradford O’Keefe Funeral home, 15th Street, Gulfport on Friday, February 20, 2014 from 1-3 p.m. A graveside service will be held Saturday at 1 pm at Sulphur Springs Methodist Church Cemetery, Madison County, MS.
