Dorothea Noble

Mrs. Dorothea Noble, age 94, of Ocean Springs, MS, passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2014, in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Noble was a lifelong resident of Ocean Springs. She was a loving wife and mother and was totally devoted to her family. She raised her children, then pursued a career as a ward clerk at Howard Memorial Hospital and Singing River Hospital System. Mrs. Noble was a person of faith and loved to travel. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Noble, a grandson, Donald Lautenschlager and brother, George Fluker. Survivors include a daughter, Donna (David) Lautenschlager, son, Gary Noble, two sisters, Melba Hill and Amaryllis Beck, six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Friday, February 14, 2014, from 10am until 11am, with an 11am chapel service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations be made to St. Paul UMC Building Fund, 800 Porter Avenue, Ocean Springs, MS 39564.
