Douglas Scott Ellzey

Douglas Scott Ellzey, Sr., age 64, of Biloxi, passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2014. Douglas was a longtime resident of the MS Gulf Coast. He was of the Catholic faith, a U.S. Navy Veteran and enjoyed sailing. He was a motorcycle enthusiast. He enjoyed racing, rebuilding and riding motorcycles. Douglas is preceded in death by his parents, Jerry and Shirley Eggers Ellzey. Survivors include his wife, Kazuko Ellzey of Biloxi; son, Douglas (June) Ellzey, Jr. of Biloxi; three grandchildren, Alyson, Ian, and Eli Ellzey; aunts, Joy Corona of South Carolina and Gay Askin of Biloxi; and uncle, Grant Ellzey of Biloxi. In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials to be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to the Humane Society of South MS, 2615 25th Avenue, Gulfport, MS 39501.
