Douglas Wayne Morrison

Douglas Wayne Morrison, 55, of Ocean Springs, MS, passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 in Ocean Springs. Mr. Morrison was born in Biloxi and was a lifelong resident of the coast. He attended the University of South Alabama and worked in the medical profession for years. Mr. Morrison attended Medical School in New York City. Prior to his medical career, he was a fantastic pitcher and played Triple A Baseball. He is preceded in death by his mother, Carole Morrison. Mr. Morrison’s survivors include his son, Douglas Lee Morrison of Athens, GA; his father, David Lee Morrison of Ocean Springs; his sister, Lisa Morrison of Ocean Springs; his brother, Kevin Morrison of Tampa, FL; and his nephew, Alexander Morrison. Private services will be held at a later date. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
