Douglas James Necaise, age 69, of Necaise Crossing died Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at his home. He was born in Picayune and was a lifelong resident of the Gulf Coast. He previously served in the U.S. Army serving in the Military Police. He was a construction manager for the Hancock County School District and he was a cattleman.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Paula Faye Necaise; and his parents, James and Melva Seal Necaise.
He is survived by two daughters, LeAnne (Darrin) Peterson and DeAnna (Jimmy) Wedworth; a brother, Herman Ray Necaise; and four grandchildren, Wyatt Peterson, Anna Peterson, Cooper Wedworth, and Jentry Wedworth.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, December 14, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Crane Creek Baptist Church where friends may visit beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Crane Creek Cemetery.
