Earleen Marie Lepre Sigworth, age 84, of Gulfport died Thursday, February 7, 2013 in Gulfport. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister.
Earleen was born in D’Iberville, MS on December 30, 1928. She was a lifelong resident of the Gulf Coast. She was a sales clerk for many years at Art’s Army Surplus Store in Biloxi and also worked at Krogers Grocery in Biloxi. She was of the Catholic Faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Salvadore and Grace Boney Lepre; her brothers, Brother Jerome Lepre, S. C., Stanley Lepre; and her son, Charles “Chuck” Creel, Jr.
Survivors include her children, Jolene Ellis and Charlene Brown (Andy) of Bay St. Louis, and Sean Sigworth of Oceans Springs; two sisters, Mary Knox (Bill) of D’Iberville and Ethelyn Rainosek (Al) of Mobile, Ala.; two brothers, Darnell Lepre (Pat) of Biloxi and Lyndell Lepre (Sue) of D’Iberville; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she loved dearly and was loved dearly by them.
Her faith in Christ enabled her to accept her death with the same grace and dignity as she lived her life.
The family would like to express a heartfelt “thank you” for all the wonderful care Earleen was given during her last years at the Driftwood Nursing Home and more recently to the staff at Gulfport Memorial Hospital.
There will be a private service at a later date.
