Edith Hollis Reese

Edith Hollis Reese died peacefully September 14, 2014, at Greenbriar Nursing Center in D’Iberville, MS. Born May 2, 1921, in Avera, she grew up in Wiggins and lived most of her adult life in Houston, TX. Family and friends will remember her as a friendly, caring, deeply religious person. She is survived by three daughters, Dorothy Murray, Carolyn Goodrich, and Nancy Reese; four granddaughters, Bethany Rust, Kristen Dailey, Marion Horn and Kelle Jones; one grandson, Sam Goodrich; and ten great grandchildren: EmilyYeager, Michael Rust, Evan and Drew Dailey, Joe, Scott and Troy Horn, Joshua Jones, Sara and Riley Goodrich. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 20, 2014, at the Ocean Springs Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 6813 Cheyenne Road, Biloxi 39532. Burial will be in Laurel, near her parents. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of Arrangements.
