Edwin Norwood Alley

Edwin Norwood Alley, 92, of Biloxi, MS passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2018 in Biloxi. Mr. Alley was a native and lifelong residence of Biloxi and a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII. He was a lifelong member of Blessed Seelos (St. John) Catholic Church, where he was active on the Bingo committee. Mr. Alley was retired from Keesler Air Force Base and a regular patron of Mary Mahoney’s Bar. He was preceded in death by his parents, Amelia Fountain Alley and Harry Alley; his brothers, Earl, Donald and Orion Alley; his sisters, Nancy Burton and Annette Pell; and his half-sisters, Marion and Laura. Mr. Alley’s survivors include his sister, Deborah A. Hann; and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Blessed Seelos Catholic Church on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 11:00 am. Friends may visit from 10:00 am until mass time. Interment will follow at Seymour Cemetery. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
