Edwin N. "Felix" DuBois

Edwin N. “Felix” DuBois, Jr., 64, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2014. Felix was born and raised in Biloxi. He was known by all as “Felix the Cat” and spent many days at the Elk’s Lodge playing cards and playing pool at the Union Bar. He loved singing, listening to music and most of all, he loved his family. Felix was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Ruth DuBois; brother, Mark “Twiggy” DuBois; and grandmother, Edith “Mamoo” Ryan. Survivors include his son, Joey Williams of D’Iberville; sisters, Karen DuBois Ellzey of Saucier and Dawn Marie DuBois Bertucci of D’Iberville; longtime dear friend, Dawn Marie Hamel of D’Iberville; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. A memorial service will be held at a later date. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe is in charge of arrangements.
