Ellis Carrington Holland

Ellis Carrington Holland, age 82, of Biloxi, died Sunday, April 7, 2013. Ellis was a native of Oak Grove, LA and a resident of the Gulf Coast since 1969. He was a retired U.S. Army Veteran of Vietnam and Korean War and member of First Baptist Church of Biloxi. Ellis is preceded in death by parents Gus Holland and Ruth Carroll and 11 brothers and sisters. His survivors include his loving wife of 56 years, Gertrud “Trudy” Holland; son, Dwain Holland (Rosalyn); granddaughter, Amanda Holland Fleig (Joshua); and sister, Juanita Creech. The family would prefer donations to be made to First Baptist Church of Biloxi or ones favorite charity. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday, April 11, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 11:30 all at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home.
