Elnoir "Aunt Ellie" Pauli

Elnoir B. Pauli “Aunt Ellie”, age 94 of Biloxi, left this earthly life for her eternal life on Monday, October 15, 2012. Elnoir was born to John O. Boutwell, Sr. and Christine B. Boutwell on February 10, 1918 and was a lifelong resident of Biloxi, MS. She was a devout Christian and a member of First United Methodist church of Biloxi where she taught Sunday School and Bible Study. Elnoir was a graduate of Biloxi High School and was employed by J.C. Penney Co. until her retirement in 1984. She was a member of Lighthouse Business and Professional Women and the Class of 1935 Club. Elnoir was preceded in death by her husband, William Pauli; her parents, John O. Boutwell, Sr., Christine B. Adams and Irwin H. Adams; her sister, Lucille Adams Roby; brothers, John O. (Katie) Boutwell, George H. (Shirley) Adams and LeRoy (June) Adams; and her niece, Dorothy (John) Fayard. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, nieces, nephews and friends too numerous to count. She lovingly nurtured us when we were small and guided us as we grew. Her attitudes, values, hopes and dreams became part of us and though she is gone, our love for her remains and always will. A life that has made such a difference in so many other lives will forever be remembered. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 18, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a 10:00 a.m. funeral service on Friday, October 19, 2012, all at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Southern Memorial Park.
