Elsie Marie Denoux

Elsie Marie Denoux, age 91, resident of Gulfport died Wednesday, July 2, 2014 in Gulfport. Mrs. Denoux was born in Belle Rose, LA, former long-time resident of New Orleans. She has been a resident of Gulfport about four and one half years. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Woolmarket and authored a cookbook for the church. She was a fisherman, gardener, and painter. She was preceded in death by her husband Noel Joseph Denoux, Sr. and her parents, Ralph and Clamest Landry. She is survived by her son Noel J. Denoux, Jr. (Sharon); and a grandson, Jeremy Denoux. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 8343 Woolmarket Road at 11:00 AM. Visitation Wednesday, July 9, 2014, 10:00-11:00 AM at the church. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery. Arrangements handled by BRADFORD-OKEEFE FUNERAL HOME, O’Neal Road, Gulfport.
