Ernest Anthony Gros

Ernest Anthony Gros, 63, died Thursday, October 10, 2013. A native of Raceland, LA, Ernest has been a resident of the Gulf Coast since 2004. He is a US Army Vietnam Veteran, where he was a sharpshooter. Ernest was self-employed in the construction industry. He is preceded in death by his father, Noville Gros. Ernest is survived by his wife, Gail Gros; mother, Viola Thibodeaux; sons, Tony Hysmith, Michael Hysmith, Adam Hysmith, and Gene Hysmith; sisters, Verly Davies, Molly Gladney, and Linda Gros; brothers, Alvin Gros, Irvin Gros and Horrace Gros; and 8 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, October 13, 2013 at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe, where friends may visit 2 hours prior to service time.
