Ettie Evelyn Flowers, age 90, of Biloxi, MS died Sunday, September 29, 2013. She was a Biloxi native and lifelong coast resident.
Ettie is preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Archie Lee Flowers; her parents, Houston and Elizabeth Everett Gollott of Biloxi; sisters, Genevieve Gollott Cowan of Biloxi, Juanita Gollott Thorson of Ocean Springs, and Helen Gollott Skupien of Biloxi; brothers, Houston and Thomas (Bay) of Biloxi and Marshall Gollott of California.
She is survived by her son, Leonard “Butch” Williams of Clinton, MS; granddaughters, Angie Eberhardt and Michele Borrelli of Mobile, AL; 4 great-grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter; sister, Sue Gollott Harrell of Bowling Green, KY; brother-in-law, Marvin Flowers and his wife Lou of Biloxi; and 19 nieces and nephews.
Her family wishes to express a special thank you to Tina McGill and the staff Eva’s Place Personal Care Home of Perkinston and the nursing home staff of Advantage Hospice of Hattiesburg.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer memorials to be made to one’s favorite charity or church.
Visitation will be held at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 3, 2013 at Biloxi National Cemetery.
