Faytie "Teeny" Ramsay Appleton

Faytie “Teeny” Ramsay Appleton, 86, passed away Monday, February 16, 2015. Mrs. Appleton was a lifelong resident of the Gulf Coast. She worked as an administrative assistant in the Gulfport School System and MGCCC System. Mrs. Appleton was a longtime member of Bonnie Chapel United Methodist Church and served as the Pastor for several years in the mid 1980’s. She was preceded in death by her husband, William F. “Bill” Appleton, Sr.; and sisters, Cleo Bains and Frances Shoemaker. Mrs. Appleton is survived by her sons, William F. “Will” (Georgayne) Appleton, Jr. and Stuart R. Appleton; grandson, James (Danielle) Appleton; and great-granddaughter, Claire Appleton. Funeral service will be on Monday, February 23, 2015 at Bonnie Chapel United Methodist Church at 2:00 p.m. Friends may visit from 1:00 p.m. until the service. Burial will follow at Ramsay Family Cemetery. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
