Felix "Wil" Cantrell, born May 14, 1943 in Caldwell, Idaho passed away on June 18, 2015.
Wil served in the Air Force during the Vietnam war. He retired from Ingalls Shipbuilding where he was a purchasing agent for 28 years. Wil loved and was dedicated to his church, Heritage United Methodist, where he was lovingly known as "the kid". He was active in the men's group serving as their secretary and treasurer and as head usher. He also was on the finance committee, the trustee committee, the administrative council, and the pastor parrish relations committee. His excellent memory and recognition skills served him well.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Otis and Esta Cantrell and a daughter-in-law, Rilla Broome.
Survivors include Erlyne Ford Cantrell, his wife of 19 years, as well as children, Halana Quave and husband, Richard, Felix Cantrell III and wife, Kara, James Cantrell, Ross Broome Jr and wife, Rocky, Becky Thomas and husband, Don, and James Broome and numerous grandchildren and great- grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Saturday, June 20, from 1:30pm until 2:30pm, with a 2:30pm church service, all at Heritage United Methodist Church in D'Iberville. Burial will follow in D'Iberville Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to the youth group at Heritage United Methodist Church, 4322 Popps Ferry Rd., D'Iberville, MS 39540.
